New labels listing the carbon dioxide emissions associated with the production of foods, from whole wheat pasta to fast food burgers, are appearing on some grocery items and restaurant menus around the country. ‘
Nu finns det, som jag har bloggat om, privata amerikanska initiativ som är inne på ungefär samma ide, men inget från den amerikanska regeringen och inget som är så avancerat.
Roligt att Livsmedelsverkets initiativ nu uppmärksammas i USA där det amerikanska Livsmedelsverket, Food and Drug Administration säkert kan lära sig mycket av det här innovativa programmet.
